JOB TITLE: Cards Product SpecialistTERM: 12 monthsCLIENT LOCATION: Dubai UAEDIVISION: CardsREPORTS TO: Head of CardsRELEVANT EXPERIENCE: 12 years in Cards Product and Portfolio ManagementMANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**:English and Arabic language proficiency (preferred)Local experience in the UAE banking marketCards product management and project management experiencePURPOSE OF THE PROJECTThe Cards Product Specialist will support in launching credit and debit cards focusing on profit and growth for cards including revenue credit costs and direct/allocated costs. The role involves product management for cards audits compliance matters and complaints support. The specialist will guide and support in executing strategies aimed at generating revenue through products in alignment with consumer banking strategy with a focus on the whole of bank value which is not limited to card launches and ongoing product managementKey ActivitiesCore Responsibilities and AccountabilitiesLaunch new products and manage the end-to-end process of product development from conceptualization to market introductionGuide and support in executing strategies aimed at generating revenue through products in alignment with consumer banking strategySupport the commercialization of new products and launch of new products and solutions by recommending pricing providing sales tools and training the sales team to ensure knowledge transfer resulting in successful sales in partnership with acquisitionsManage product management for cards audit compliance matters and complaints supportProvide guidance and support to client-facing professionals and sales teams to solve complex client needs through productsSupport monitoring of product performance post roll-out and help resolve product or sales issues to ensure continuous product improvementSupport in delivery of large programs for clients from initiation to benefit realization including to Portfolio ManagementKPIsGDV and Revenue growth from card productsNumber of successful card launches and time to marketReduction in credit costs and fraudSuccessful execution of marketing campaignsCustomer satisfaction and superior customer experienceTimely and effective product roll-out and commercializationKnowledge and ExperienceBachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science Engineering Management or Business)Experience in cards product management project management and coordination between different functionsStrong knowledge of consumer banking and card productsUnderstanding audit compliance matters and complaints supportAbility to execute marketing campaigns and develop end-to-end solutionsExperience in training internal stakeholders and performing competitive benchmarking
