Job Title: Accounts Executive Department: Finance & Accounts Reports To: Accounts Manager / Finance Manager Location: Sharjah Al Majaz Employment Type: Full-Time Visa Type: Spouse Visa/Family Visa/Freelance Visa Job Summary The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing daily accounting transactions, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with statutory and internal financial controls. Key Responsibilities Accounting & BookkeepingRecord daily accounting entries including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments Maintain general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and petty cash Prepare journal entries and month-end closing supportInvoicing & CollectionsGenerate customer invoices and follow up on receivables Track aging reports and support timely collections Coordinate with sales and operations teams for billing accuracyVendor & Expense ManagementVerify supplier invoices and process payments Maintain vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies Monitor employee expense claims and reimbursementsCompliance & ReportingAssist in preparation of monthly MIS, P&L, and balance sheet reports Support VAT/GST compliance, filings, and documentation Assist internal and external audits with required recordsSystems & ControlsMaintain accounting records in ERP/accounting software (Tally / Odoo / SAP / Zoho) Ensure adherence to company financial policies and procedures Maintain proper documentation and filing (physical & digital)Qualifications & Skills EducationBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce CA-Inter / CMA / ACCA (preferred but not mandatory)Experience2–4 years of relevant accounting experience Experience in SME, IT services, retail, or manufacturing is an advantageTechnical SkillsProficiency in accounting software and MS Excel Working knowledge of VAT/GST and statutory compliance Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detailBehavioral SkillsHigh level of integrity and confidentiality Good communication and coordination skills Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasksKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)Accuracy of accounting entries Timely invoicing and collections Month-end closing timelines Compliance with statutory filings Audit observations and correctionsPerks & BenefitsCompetitive salary Performance-based incentives Annual leave and statutory benefits Learning and professional growth opportunitiesJob Type: Full-time #J-18808-Ljbffr
