About the Role
As a Financial Controller – Operations , you will play a key role in managing the financial performance of our operational activities. You will collaborate closely with our manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to drive efficiency, cost optimization, and compliance while ensuring robust financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Financial Oversight – Partner with operations, supply chain, and production teams to optimize financial performance, monitor cost structures, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Cost Management – Lead cost analysis, product costing, and inventory valuation, ensuring accurate tracking of material, labor, and overhead costs.
Payables & Treasury Management – Oversee accounts payable, vendor credit terms, payment schedules, and treasury functions, optimizing cash flow and minimizing financial risks.
Fixed Assets Management – Maintain accurate asset records, oversee depreciation, review CapEx requests, and conduct periodic asset audits.
Inventory & Supply Chain Controls – Manage inventory accounting, implement stock reconciliation processes, and collaborate with supply chain teams to enhance inventory turnover and minimize obsolescence.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management – Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements, acting as a key liaison with auditors and tax authorities.
Financial Reporting & Audit Support – Prepare operational financial statements, oversee financial close processes, and support internal/external audits with accurate documentation.
Leadership & Team Management – Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Strategic Decision-Making – Provide financial insights to operational leadership, enabling informed decision-making to drive efficiency and productivity.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting; CPA, ACCA, or CIMA preferred
Experience : 5–10 years in operational finance, treasury, and governance
Skills : Strong analytical mindset, leadership skills, and proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
Location : Dubai
