  • Clean assigned guest roomsaccording to standards established by the hotel. It involves but isnot limited to, making the bed, dusting the room and furniture,replenishing guest room and bath supplies, cleaning the bathroom,and vacuuming the carpet.
  • Whilstcleaning the room, verify that all is in proper condition and orderof functioning and report to the Supervisor any items that needrepair.
  • Clean corridors and floorpublic areas around guest rooms assigned. Also, maintain thecleanliness of equipment andpantries.
  • Keep informed of hotelproduct and service knowledge to answer guestquestions.
  • Answer all guestquestions/requests in a friendly and caring manner, takeappropriate actions or if needed, refer the matters to the relevantpersons to handle. It may be providing information, giving an extraitem such as a towel, etc.
  • Writedown on their assignment sheets relevant information for recordpurposes and possible future inquiries. At the end of the shift,report special attention to guests, unusual situations, andincidents that need follow-up, to ensure consistency and guestsatisfaction.
  • Verify the physicalstatus of the room and update the Order Taker of any discrepanciesfound.
  • Report at once to theSupervisor and Order Taker lost and found items and coordinate withthe Order Taker when to bring itemsdown.
  • Provide the turn-down serviceto assigned guest rooms according to standards established by thehotel. It involves but is not limited to, turning down the bed,replenishing guest room and bath supplies, and cleaning thebathroom if necessary. Help control guest and cleaning supplies tosave costs.
