Project Operations EngineerWe're looking for an experienced Project Operations Engineer to join our project operations team based in Abu Dhabi.
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience within the HVAC or MEP industry supervising the installation and commissioning of commercial and residential projects. A UAE driving license is a must.
Key Accountabilities:
- Responsible for site supervision of the VRF, Chillers, or Duct projects and ensuring timely completion.
- Liaise with clients to understand design requirements and deliver projects within required specifications.
- Perform regular site inspections and ensure subcontractors follow designs and meet material specification guidelines.
- Liaise with the engineering team to discuss the projects' technical aspects, e.g. design, selection, etc.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date completed project documentation, including drawings, technical, and site inspection reports.
- Ensure installation works are performed as per the company's standards and prepare the necessary documentation/site reports.
- Monitor the subcontractor's performance, provide feedback, and escalate concerns to the project operations team.
- Prepare estimate cost-based on-site inspection for presales projects.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Sr. Engineer – Project Operations.
- Follow and maintain health and safety procedures and ensure appropriate PPE availability on sites.
Key Qualifications:
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, MEP, and HVAC industries.
- Strong knowledge of site supervision, inspection, and quality control.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering concepts, building, construction, and design.
- Strong knowledge of Duct, VRF, Chillers, and Packaged products.
- Hands-on experience using AutoCAD.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English and Arabic.
