WhatYou'll Do

  • Design and develop robust, scalable,and high-performance data pipelines and ETL processes to extract,transform, and load data from various sources into our datawarehouse or data lake.
  • Collaborate withstakeholders to understand their data requirements, and design andimplement appropriate data models and database schemas to supporttheir needs.
  • Optimize data pipelines and ETLprocesses for performance and efficiency, ensuring timely andaccurate data delivery to end-users.
  • Monitor,troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to data quality, dataconsistency, and data integrity, ensuring the reliability andcorrectness of our data systems.
  • Define,implement, and manage data quality processes and strategies,including monitoring, validation, and cleansing, to ensure thedelivery of high-quality data acrosssystems.
  • Collaborate with data scientists andanalysts to provide them with the necessary data infrastructure andtools for conducting advanced analytics and derivinginsights.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latesttrends and technologies in data engineering and recommendinnovative solutions to improve data engineering processes andsystems.
  • Document data engineering processes,data flows, and system architectures to ensure knowledge sharingand maintain an up-to-date repository of technicaldocumentation.
  • Work closely withcross-functional teams, including software engineers andinfrastructure teams, to optimize data infrastructure and ensureits seamless integration with other systems.
Desired candidate profile
  • Bachelor's degree in ComputerScience, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or in a similarrole, working with large-scale data processing and ETLpipelines.
  • Strong programming skills inlanguages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in datamanipulation and processing frameworks like ApacheSpark.
  • Experience with SQL and databasetechnologies (e.g., relational databases, SQL queries, datamodeling).
  • Proficiency in working with big datatechnologies such as Hadoop, Hive and knowledge of distributedsystems and cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure,GCP).
  • Familiarity with data integration andworkflow management tools such as ApacheAirflow.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing conceptsand experience with data warehousing solutions is highlydesirable.
  • Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complexdata-related issues and propose effectivesolutions.
  • Excellent communication andstakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectivelyin a cross-functional teamenvironment.
  • Attention to detail and a strongcommitment to delivering high-quality work within establishedtimelines.
