The Team and Role Reporting to the Head of Marketing, METCAP, the successful candidate will be responsible to lead a select range of Logitech G product categories (Gaming Mice, Keyboards, Headsets and Racing Wheels) to achieve commercial and profitability targets for the Middle East, Turkey, Central Asia and Pakistan markets. The Regional Category Manager has the responsibilities of driving category strategies, identifying opportunities, managing the product lifecycle and leading commercial planning across the METCAP regions. In this role you will: Be accountable for the performance of the selected Logitech product categories to achieve regional revenue, profitability targets and strategic objectives for the METCAP region. Translate Global and GEM category strategies into regional plans, driving local execution across the diverse group of countries within the METCAP region. Partner with the GEM Regional Marketing and act as the primary point of contact for GEM for the Logitech G brand. Act as business partner for all commercial aspects including market performance analysis (GFK), strategy development & presentation, identification of new opportunities, business performance and channel extension. Work closely with Cluster heads on the category annual and quarterly planning, as well as demand planning. Lead NPI forecasting process for all METCAP markets with strong accuracy. Analyse commercial insights and performance data to provide direction and guidance to METCAP markets countries to support in achieving category objectives. Align strategies, campaigns, execution, and performance KPIs with key stakeholders across the METCAP markets including the Country Head, TM Managers and Marcom Managers. Lead NPI planning and product launches for select categories. Partner with METCAP clusters Marcom managers to facilitate the execution of key strategies. Use market insights from country organization to translate global marketing strategies into regional tactics that engage consumers and shoppers across all relevant marketing channels. Drive in-country collaboration between Sales & Marketing, share best practice and modify successful activities for execution from other countries, channels or customers. Proactively assess, clarify and identify Global Emerging Markets consumer needs and to communicate these to the relevant internal stakeholders. Be a brand ambassador for the select categories within the METCAP markets. Key Qualifications & Preferred Qualifications For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team: Have a minimum 5-6 years’ experience in category or product management with a track record in key consumer brands. Be highly analytical, structured and be a solution-oriented person. Have strong experience in engaging remotely with teams across multiple countries and in multiple markets. Possess a good understanding of Global Emerging Markets and their unique needs. Have excellent presentation and communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with strength in communicating across different cultures. Strong financial and commercial acumen. 8+ years of international experience in FMCG, consumer electronics, and/or brand/marketing management consulting. Gamer is a big plus. Follow closely on Esports hot topics and events. Experience with full marketing mix, developing marketing plans and 360 campaign. Experience in developing a brand, strategy recommendations and successfully growing a product line. Passion for consumers’ needs and business dynamics In-depth experience in understanding customer preferences, attitudes and other factors that influence marketing plan and campaign. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence brand strategy across the organization, is required. Ideal candidate has proven leadership skills to create strong internal/external relationships, while being a global team player. Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, both functionally and geographically is critical. Ability to view issues from a broad strategic perspective and strong experience in problem solving, influencing and decision making. Organizational savvy to understand how to get things done in a matrix organization. Team player – great communicator. Self-management skills and self-started attitude highly valued. English fluent verbally and written is a must, other language is a nice to have.
