The primary phase delivers an adapted UK National Curriculum alongside the IB Primary Years Programme (IBPYP), while the secondary phase offers a dual-pathway model with the UK curriculum and the International Baccalaureate in the Sixth Form. The Role Looking for a positive, driven and inspirational Primary Deputy Head Teacher to join the team. Essential Hold a bachelor’s degree and a post‑graduate qualification in education. Have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Trained in British Curriculum or International Baccalaureate Primary Years Program. Have a proven record of raising attainment and improving progress. Have an excellent understanding of teaching and learning. Be proficient in the development and adaptation of curriculum in a key subject. Have a proven track record of excellent classroom and pedagogical practice. Have previous experience in a position of responsibility as a middle leader / senior leader. Experience of leading a team and working with various teams. Have excellent communications skills – both spoken and written. Excellent people management skills. Desirable Master’s degree in education. Educational management qualification (NPQML / NPQSL, etc.) Strong and proven pedagogical understandings, based on research and best practice. Experience as Deputy Head Teacher or equivalent role. Experience of using Google suite, e.g., Google classroom. The school offers A tax‑free salary inclusive of housing allowance.
