Senior Project Engineer - Structural (Buildings)

Abu Dhabi, UAE

Parsons is currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Engineer - Structural (Buildings) to join our diverse team for our project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing structural deliverables, including but not limited to building layouts, utility layouts, parking layouts, and detailed designs of structural elements such as concrete and steel buildings.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Reviewing structural deliverables including but not limited to:
  • Building layouts, utility layouts, and parking layouts.
  • Layouts of all structural works.
  • Details of the structural elements such as concrete buildings and steel buildings.
  • Layouts and details of substations.
  • Layouts and details of potable water, fire water, sewer, and storm water pump stations structures.
  • Compound wall, fence, and gates.
  • Topography survey layouts.
  • Earthwork and grading drawings.
  • Ensuring the deliverables are coordinated with other disciplines.
  • Compliance with authority standards and specifications.
  • Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

  • Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from a reputable university.
  • Minimum 10 years of building experience with at least 5 years of work in the UAE in a similar position.
  • Grade A office building design experience is a must.
  • Knowledge of authority requirements and standards.
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering team.
  • Commitment to safe work practices.
  • Ability to coordinate and meet with designers, contractors, and authorities.
