We are seeking a skilled and experienced Data Intelligence Analyst to join our team and drive strategic data projects for our Commercial team. Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the Sourcing (Air & Non-Air) department regarding their data needs.
- Lead analytical projects that leverage internal and external data sources to deliver insights and recommendations to drive business results.
- Lead data projects from concept to delivery, including data requirements gathering, data modeling, analysis, visualization, with a key focus on deriving actionable insights and making data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define detailed use cases for analytic and monetization initiatives.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements for data engineers.
- Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify areas for improvement.
Profile Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in a STEM field or business administration.
- 5+ years of experience in data analytics, with demonstrated experience leading data-driven projects related to Commercial or Travel Analytics.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of advanced statistical, analytical, and visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight, etc) and methodologies.
- Strong working knowledge on programming languages like SQL is a must, additionally knowledge in python will be preferred.
- Prior experience in the travel industry (Airline, Hotel & Travel Agency) is preferred.
- Experience in building ML and rule-based models will be an added bonus.
- Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to understand business strategy and translate it into data-driven recommendations.
- Excellent presentation skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in creating executive presentations and reports that clearly and concisely convey analytical findings and recommendations.
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to complex business problems using data and analytics.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferred) to convey complex data project outcomes to Non-Technical stakeholders.
1. Commercial Acumen
- Market Understanding : Deep understanding of market trends, competitor analysis, customer needs, and industry dynamics to help shape commercial strategies.
- Pricing Strategy : Ability to develop and manage competitive pricing models to ensure profitability while meeting customer expectations.
- Revenue Optimization : Expertise in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to drive revenue, increase sales, and improve margins.
2. Negotiation and Contract Management
- Contract Negotiation : Skilled in negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure favorable agreements.
- Vendor and Client Relationships : Managing relationships with suppliers, customers, and third-party vendors to ensure smooth operations and long-term partnerships.
- Contract Compliance : Ensuring all contracts are adhered to and that the organization's obligations are met within the commercial agreements.
3. Business Development and Strategy
- Strategic Planning : Collaborating with senior management to develop and implement business strategies to expand market presence and achieve growth objectives.
- Market Research : Conducting market research to identify new business opportunities, customer segments, and emerging trends to inform business development.
- Lead Generation : Generating and qualifying leads to drive the sales pipeline and increase the organization's customer base.
4. Financial Analysis and Reporting
- Financial Planning : Assisting in the development of financial models, budgets, and forecasts to ensure that commercial projects are aligned with business goals.
- Profitability Analysis : Analyzing financial performance, profit margins, and sales data to determine areas for cost reduction and improved profitability.
- KPI Tracking : Monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commercial operations, sales targets, and customer satisfaction.
5. Project Management
- Project Coordination : Overseeing the execution of commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Working closely with departments such as marketing, finance, operations, and legal to ensure the smooth execution of commercial activities.
