Any other duty as required by the Master of the Tug boat, Tug Engineer. To assist the Master whilst maneuver alongside a moving vessel during making fast and let go the towing line. To carry out daily deck maintenance as per master order, and ensure that the marine units are clean all the time, and deck machinery is in good order. Assist the Chief Engineer in any duties required to ensure engines/equipment are fully maintained and clean. Works as a crew member all ADP Marine Units (Pilot launches, port tugs, Navigation buoy's vessel, Speed boats and other small crafts) and on the quays, as required. Works as a member of Oil Spill Team including deploying, Recovery of oil spill equipment, and cleaning the spill. Perform any other duty as deemed necessary by the tug master/Tug Engineer/Skipper. Adhere to SOPs, and incident reporting system. Report and near miss, observation of unsafe act and unsafe condition to direct supervisor. Qualifications STCW 95 Basic Certified Minimum 2-3 years of relevant work experience as seaman Required Skills Fluency in English Ropes/wires splicing and safe handling procedures. Safe Mooring Practices and Deck maintenance knowledge Chipping and Painting knowledge Good knowledge of FFE, LSA and distress signals use and applications Seniority level: Associate.
