Our client is a global logistics and supply chain leader providing integrated warehousing, fulfillment, and transport solutions across multiple industry sectors. With significant operations across the GCC, the company is expanding its E-Commerce and Retail Contract Logistics division to meet fast-growing demand for scalable, tech-driven supply chain solutions. They are now seeking an experienced Senior Manager – Contract Logistics (E-Commerce & Retail) to drive regional business growth, lead solution design, and support capacity expansion initiatives across the MENA region. Role Overview This is a leadership position responsible for developing, executing, and managing commercial strategies within the E-Commerce and Retail vertical. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, overseeing solution design and implementation, and driving customer acquisition and retention. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of omni-channel logistics, fulfillment operations, and retail supply chain transformation across the GCC. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement contract logistics strategies for E-Commerce and Retail clients across the GCC. Drive commercial growth through new business development, solution engineering, and pricing excellence. Manage a team of Contract Logistics Engineers and Pricing Specialists, ensuring collaboration and high performance. Lead RFQ processes, commercial negotiations, and renewals for key accounts. Oversee greenfield and brownfield warehouse development, ensuring operational readiness and compliance. Work closely with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Engineering to deliver best-in-class logistics solutions. Analyze market trends, customer behaviors, and competitor offerings to identify opportunities. Represent the company at trade shows and industry forums, strengthening its presence in the region. Ensure that all activities adhere to HSE, quality, and corporate compliance standards. Travel regionally to evaluate facilities, meet clients, and oversee project implementation. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration (Master’s preferred). Minimum 15 years of logistics and supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in E-Commerce and Retail contract logistics. Proven track record in solution design, warehouse automation, and fulfillment center operations. Experience leading greenfield warehouse or distribution projects in the GCC. Excellent understanding of last-mile delivery, omni-channel logistics, and digital fulfillment models. Strong commercial acumen and experience managing complex RFQs and negotiations. Exceptional leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills. Analytical and data-driven mindset with attention to operational efficiency and continuous improvement. Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization frameworks preferred. Willingness to travel within the region.
