Assist pharmacist in the preparation and dispensing of medications and preparations for medical outpatients and inpatients per prescription medication order
Compound when applicable medications under supervision of a Pharmacist
Initiate and maintain computerized and manual patient medication profiles to screen for contraindications allergies dose correctness drug drug and drug food interactions pharmacological duplication and adherence to drug restriction policies
Perform specialty pharmacy activities as delegated
Follow proper handling and storage procedures of medications and recognize physical and chemical changes during storage to avoid dispensing compromised medications
Be familiar with approximately 1 500 line items on the formulary and work shifts hours to meet operational requirements
Prepare prescriptions and medication-related documentation for the in-charge pharmacist and second pharmacist to dispense
Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs
Proper labeling of high alert medications concentrated electrolytes and hazardous material
Coexist in the pharmacy only during the presence of a pharmacist
Comply with all laws circulars and regulations related to the pharmacy profession

Valid DOH License as Pharmacy Technician / Assistant Pharmacist
Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) 2-year program
Minimum 2 years’ experience of pharmacy practice in UAE
Hold a current and valid license to practice in home country without conditions or limitations
Excellent command of oral and written English
Knowledge of medication handling, prescription processing, and pharmacy procedures
Good communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Understanding of UAE healthcare regulations and medication safety standards
