Overview
A reputable construction company in Sharjah is seeking a skilled Handyman to join our team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks on residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
- Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning equipment
- Identify and resolve any issues related to building structure or facilities
- Respond to emergency repair calls in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Keep track of materials and supplies needed for each project
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work area
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Handyman or similar role is required
- Knowledge of basic repairs and maintenance techniques in areas such as plumbing, carpentry, electricity, etc.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with clients in a professional manner
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends if needed
Salary: 1500$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Sharjah, UAE
Nationality Preference: Indian (open to all nationalities)
