Senior Data Scientist

We’re seeking a Senior Data Scientist based in the UAE—preferably Abu Dhabi to support real-time well data analysis, model validation, and rapid iteration between In-Country and U.S.-based engineering teams. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that live well data streams are accurately interpreted, model outputs remain reliable, and operational insights are quickly actioned. You will serve as the on-the-ground technical bridge, validating performance, identifying anomalies, tuning parameters, and generating high-quality metrics that accelerate global model improvement cycles. This position requires exceptional analytical thinking, deep domain understanding, and the ability to communicate technical findings clearly across geographically distributed teams. Access, analyze, and interpret live well data from in-country systems Validate machine learning model outputs and ensure alignment with operational expectations Tune local parameters to optimize predictive performance in field conditions Identify anomalies, data drift, and data quality issues in near real time Generate high-quality error metrics and structured evaluation reports Collaborate closely with U.S.-based scientists and engineers to accelerate model iteration Produce clear, thorough technical documentation to support cross-team workflows Communicate findings, concerns, and recommendations with precision and clarity Must be based in the UAE (Abu Dhabi strongly preferred) Senior-level experience in data science, ML modeling, or applied analytics Strong understanding of time-series data, anomaly detection, and model validation workflows Experience working with operational or real-time industrial data (energy sector is a plus) Ability to independently evaluate models, tune parameters, and assess data quality Excellent written and verbal communication skills for U.S. and in-country collaboration Detail-oriented, structured, and highly reliable in fast-moving technical environments Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Contract Job function Engineering, Project Management, and Analyst Industries IT Services and IT Consulting, Software Development, and IT System Custom Software Development #J-18808-Ljbffr
