KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

GenericAccountability / Job SpecificAccountabilities

  • Ensuretimely preparation and submission of Credit Applications andconduct necessary client visits and due diligence in coordinationwith the coverage team.
  • Coordinates with theRelationship Managers well in advance of due dates of annualreviews to obtain necessary information from the borrower tofacilitate a comprehensive review of the creditfacilities.
  • Ensure credit processing &approval turnaround times as per agreed SLAs withCIB.
  • Monitor accounts regularly and followupwith Business units on terms and conditions to ensure compliancewith the approval conditions.
  • Monitor earlywarning indicators in order to identify potential problem accountsand liaise with Business Units for ensuring suitable action plansare in place to rectify the situation at an earlystage.
  • Maintain credit processing &approval turnaround times as per agreed SLAs withCIB.
  • Review exception and portfolio reports asapplicable and keep abreast of the clients account conductfinancial standing and  latest developments occurring intheir respective segment/market so as to provide appropriaterecommendations with regards to change in risk appetite / ratings/classification.
  • Ensure accuracy of data beingpresented to various stakeholders including seniormanagement

Qualifications:

MinimumQualification

  • Must haveBachelorsdegree.  
  • Desirable:Chartered Accountant/ Masters in Business Administration(MBA).  

MinimumExperience

  • 5 yearsrelevant experience in the banking sector with at least 3 years insimilar positions of progressively increasing responsibilities inthe Creditfunction.
