The ideal candidate will be innovative, team oriented, an effective communicator, have a desire to participate in change, and appreciate a dynamic environment with rapidly changing priorities. We are seeking someone with demonstrated history of successful demand generation across media channels and using customer data to identify and prioritize opportunities.

A day in the life

As an intern, you will be matched to a mentor.

In addition to learning about an impactful project, you will have the

opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional

development, expand your network, and participate in activities with other

interns throughout your internship. No matter the location of your internship,

we give you the tools to own your project and learn in a real-world setting.

Internship length can vary between (3 months to 6 months)

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in or will receive a Bachelor's or Master's Degree with a graduation date between December 2025 and June 2027
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor's/Master's degree in business, marketing, advertising, or related field
  • Fluent written and verbal communication in English
  • Available to commence an internship between January and December 2025. Yes, our start dates are flexible You should then be available for 3-6 months, full time (40h/week).

  • Solid organizational skills, including prioritization and time management Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to summarize and communicate important data
  • An understanding of and passion for e-commerce
  • Strong communication skills (i.e., experience in coordinating teams and communicating to management)
Desired candidate profile

1. Communication Skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to craft emails, social media posts, and other marketing content.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members and communicate ideas effectively to both internal teams and external clients.

2. Creativity

  • Ability to generate fresh ideas for marketing campaigns and promotions.
  • Creative thinking to develop engaging content for social media, blogs, advertisements, or other marketing materials.

3. Analytical Skills

  • Comfort with analyzing marketing data, such as website traffic, social media metrics, or campaign performance, to determine the effectiveness of strategies.
  • Ability to interpret data and suggest improvements for future campaigns.

4. Social Media Savvy

  • Understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn) and how to leverage them for marketing purposes.
  • Knowledge of current social media trends and ability to create engaging posts and content.

5. Marketing Software Proficiency

  • Basic knowledge of marketing tools like Google Analytics, email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp), content management systems (CMS), and social media scheduling tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) for creating marketing visuals is a plus.

6. Time Management

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

7. Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Ability to work with a team and support the broader marketing strategy.
  • Willingness to take direction and learn from colleagues while contributing to team projects.

8. Attention to Detail

  • Careful attention to detail when proofreading content, designing visuals, and tracking metrics.
  • Ensuring all materials meet company standards for branding and messaging.

9. Adaptability

  • Willingness to learn new marketing tools and techniques.
  • Open to adjusting strategies based on feedback and changes in the market or business priorities.
