  • Provide patientfocused Critical Care Medicine and ensure optimal clinical care ofpatients in the department in line with the clinical privilegesgranted.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary teamwith a personalized and caring attitude.
  • Provide leadership supervision and support tojunior clinical staff. Help develop and participate in apostgraduate training program for all clinical staff.
  • Development implementation and revision ofthe departments scope of services
  • FoleyCatheter insertion and removal
  • Peripheralintravenous access and removal
  • Nasogastric tubeinsertion and removal
  • Cardiac Telemetry/EKGrhythm interpretation
  • Operationalresponsibility for the identification of resources required forhis/her department and the effective utilisation of the saidresources within budgetary guidelines.
  • Tounderstand and comply with the principles of clinical governancespecifically:

Qualification

  • Minimum 3 years post specialization inCritical Care Knowledge / Technical Skills:
