We are partnering with a well-established marketing communications consultancy in Abu Dhabi looking to appoint a Social Media Account Director to lead and elevate their social media practice. This is a senior leadership role for someone who blends strategy, creativity and commercial thinking, and thrives in a fast-moving, integrated agency environment. You will oversee key client portfolios, lead a multidisciplinary team, and ensure that every campaign is insight-led, culturally relevant and performance-driven. The Role As Social Media Account Director, you will: Lead strategic direction across multiple client accounts Act as senior client advisor and escalation point Oversee content strategy, storytelling and creative excellence Drive cross-practice integration across PR, paid and creative teams Manage team structure, mentoring and performance Own operational processes, resource planning and profitability Lead performance measurement and reporting (Meta, Sprout, GA4 etc.) Contribute to business development and pitch processes You’ll combine data, creativity and regional insight to deliver campaigns that move audiences and strengthen brands. Experience in social media within an agency environment Proven experience leading teams and managing large client portfolios Strong understanding of regional dynamics (UAE experience essential) Strategic thinker with hands‑on knowledge of platforms and analytics Commercially aware – comfortable discussing revenue, margins and growth Confident presenter and client advisor This is ideal for someone ready to take ownership of a social media practice and shape its future direction. #J-18808-Ljbffr
