Forecasting future seasonal demand at category - subcategory level for each region and maximizing sell-thru in-season by collaborating with key stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determining financial goals for the product to achieve business financial goals - pre-season financial plans, in-season projections, open-to-buy management, and new store budgets.
  • Effectively develop and manage weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly merchandise plans and OTB.
  • Ensure effective in-season management across territories - stock transfers, markdown management, stock analysis, stock vs sales performance, non-moving stocks.
  • Managing and reviewing replenishment orders for the relevant products based on model stock and trends to achieve optimal sales, profit, inventory performance, and turns.
  • Identifying slow and best sellers to maximize sales and minimize lost opportunities.
  • Managing all aspects relating to the shipments, logistical processing, and allocation function.
  • Manage aged inventory and markdown strategy accordingly both in-season and end-of-season markdown strategy.
  • Ensure store inventory plans are in line with store capacity requirements and revenue plans.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in fitness/sports goods/retail or similar sector.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES

  • Strong retail experience in a similar planning role, solid financial background in a retail environment is a must.
  • Excellent analytical & computer skills, result-focused, and data-oriented.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, MS Office, and planning tools.
