Draughtsman Specializing in Civil and Structural Disciplines Draughtsman Specializing in Civil and Structural Disciplines Job Description of Draughtsman Specializing in Civil and Structural Disciplines We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman with strong expertise in Civil and Structural disciplines to join a reputable engineering project in Abu Dhabi. This role is crucial in transforming engineering concepts into accurate and detailed technical drawings that support construction and infrastructure development. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and capable of delivering high-quality CAD drawings aligned with project specifications and timelines. Key Responsibilities of Draughtsman Specializing in Civil and Structural Disciplines Prepare and revise detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD and related software.Collaborate with engineers and architects to interpret project specifications and technical data.Ensure all drawings comply with local regulations, project standards, and engineering best practices.Maintain organized documentation of revisions, project versions, and as-built records.Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimates based on drawings.Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure drawing accuracy and interdisciplinary compatibility.Support site teams with drawing clarifications and modifications as needed. Qualification Required for Draughtsman Specializing in Civil and Structural Disciplines Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in civil and structural drafting, with prior experience in the UAE being a prerequisiteProficiency in AutoCAD and other drafting software (2D, 3D)Strong background in civil and structural drafting, along with a thorough understanding of building codes and regulations.
