Social Media Specialist Dubai United Arab Emirates Summary/Objective: We aresearching for an experienced and motivated social media specialist to join ourcreative team. You will be responsible for devising social media campaigns andthe day-to-day management of the companys social media assets. Your passionfor social media as a communications tool will result in the adoption andimplementation of social media best practices across all social media channels. The successful candidate will be anexceptional communicator a dynamic creative writer and a team player. You willbe an active participant in data collecting and analytics in order toconstantly enhance the companys social media operations over time. Essential Functions: Formulatingstrategies for the companys social media content that are in line with thecompanys brand voice. Writing andediting original engaging content for all social media channels with an eyetoward increasing brand awareness fostering stronger relationships withexisting customers and launching new social media marketing initiatives. Taking careof a lot of social media updates every day. Maintainingcontact with your social media followers especially providing prompt responsesto their questions. Creatingdirecting and participating in social influencer programmes and gatherings. Monitoringand assessing the companys social media presence and performance throughanalytical tools like Google Analytics Hoot suite Pro and Facebook Insights. Keepingtrack of social media marketing activities and reporting on them every month. Advising onhow best to fine-tune the social media marketing approach for maximum impact. Observingthe latest social media trends and keeping up with the best methods being used. Assistingwith various tasks as required.. Competencies: Excellent understanding of the best ways to use FacebookTwitter LinkedIn Pinterest Instagram Google and other social media sites. Knowing about SEO and how to measure web traffic Experience doing research on audiences and buyer knowledge of social media KPIs. Knowledge of web design and publishing. Ability to do manythings at once. Think critically and know how to solve problems Team player good at keeping track of time Great people skills and the ability to talk to others Excellent skills in consulting writing editing (photosvideos and text) presenting and talking. Social networking experience and knowledge of socialanalytics tools must be shown. Knows enough about web design web development CRO andSEO. Knows enough about online marketing and has a good grasp of the majormarketing channels. Positive attitude good attention to detail and customersand the ability to do more than one thing at once and stay organized. Required Education and Experience: Bachelorsdegree in communications marketing journalism or a similar field. At least 3years of experience with social media including planning and managing contentin a business or agency setting. Excellentwritten and spoken communication skills and a deep understanding of how tomanage and plan for social media. Usagedifferent analytics software. Supervisory Responsibility: This role has no supervisoryresponsibilities. Work Environment: This joboperates in a professional office environment. This role routinely usesstandard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filingcabinets and fax machines. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday (hours to be specified). However he/shemust be flexible and available to work on weekends and holidays as needed. Travel: Occasional travelis needed.
