We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Neonatologist to join our expanding team. As a Neonatologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized medical care to newborn babies, especially those who are premature and/or critically ill. You will work in a collaborative and dynamic environment, utilizing state-of-the-art technology to save and improve the lives of our tiniest patients.
Responsibilities:- Diagnose and treat newborn infants with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, birth defects, and other life-threatening conditions.
- Perform various procedures and treatments including intubation, ventilation, and medication administration.
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals regarding the patient's condition and treatment plan.
- Utilize advanced monitoring equipment to provide constant and accurate assessment of the newborn's vital signs and response to treatment.
- Participate in medical rounds, conferences, and consultations to discuss patient progress and potential treatment options.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Stay updated on the latest advancements and research in the field of neonatology and incorporate it into patient care.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification in Pediatric Neonatology.
- Current state medical license.
- Excellent knowledge and experience in neonatal respiratory care, hemodynamics, and pharmacology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
