  • Troubleshoots, repairs, calibratesand designs circuits and fabricates electronic testequipment.
  • Assembles, installs, and services avariety of equipment used in an electronics technologyinstructional program.
  • Assists researchers andteams in the set-up of equipment for laboratory demonstrations andexperiments.
  • Operates, maintains, and makesminor adjustments on laboratory equipment such as digitaloscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, analog and digital multimeters,capacity checkers, inductance bridges, and grid dipmeters.
  • Conduct or supervise the installation,commissioning, and operation of electrical and electronic equipmentand systems.
  • Assist in the design, developmentand testing of electrical and electronic components, equipment, andsystems.
  • Assist in inspection, testing,adjusting and evaluation of incoming electrical, electro-mechanicaland electronic components and assemblies to ensure conformance withproduct specifications and tolerances.
  • Set upand operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose,test and analyze the performance of electrical and electroniccomponents, assemblies, and systems.
  • Interfacewith equipment vendors for service, repairs, and upgrades asneeded.
  • Maintain and apply a current knowledgein modem safety practices as applied to electronic laboratoryoperations.
  • Prepare and study technicaldrawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographicalmaps to ensure that installation and operations conform tostandards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain ahigh level of integrity and discipline with a strong workethic.
  • Plan and implement methodologies andprocedures to apply principles of electrical theory toprojects
