As a data scientist on the analysistrack your mission will be to improve the quality of the decisionsmade across product and business via relevant reliable andactionable data. You will own a particular domain across productand business and will work closely with the corresponding productand business managers as part of a talented team of data scientistsand data engineers. You will own the entire data value chainincluding logging data modeling analysis reporting andexperimentation.

  • Leveragingambiguous business problems as opportunities to drive objectivecriteria using data.
  • Developing a deepunderstanding of the product experiences and business processesthat make up your area of focus.

Qualifications:

TechnicalExperience

  • ExcellentSQL.
  • Competence with reproducible data analysisusing Python or R.
  • Familiarity with datamodeling and dimensional design.
  • Strong commandover the entire data analysis lifecycle including; problemformulation data auditing rigorous analysis interpretationrecommendations and presentation.
  • Familiaritywith different types of analysis including; descriptive exploratoryinferential causal and predictiveanalysis.
  • Deep understanding of the variousexperiment design and analysis workflows and the correspondingstatistical techniques.
  • Familiarity withproduct data (impressions events ..) and product health measurement(conversion engagement retention..).
  • Familiarity with BigQuery and the GoogleCloud Platform is a plus.
  • Data engineering anddata pipeline development experience (e.g. via Airflow) is aplus.
  • Experience with classical ML frameworks(e.g. Scikitlearn XGBoost LightGBM ...) is aplus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelorsdegree in engineering computer science technology or similarfields. A postgraduate degree is a plus but notrequired.
  • 5 years of overall experience workingin data science and machinelearning.
  • Experience doing data science in anonline consumer product setting is a plus.
  • Agood problem solver with a figure it out growthmindset.
