Job Summary:
Weare seeking a detailoriented and technically skilled PasswordManagement Assistant with a specialization in Active Directory tosupport our IT Privilege Account Management team. The idealcandidate will be responsible for managing and securing privilegedaccount passwords within our Active Directory environment ensuringcompliance with security policies and providing technical supportto users. This role involves handling passwordrelated issuesimplementing best practices and maintaining the integrity of ourpassword management system.
Key Responsibilities:
1. PasswordManagement:
o Administer and manage service accountpasswords within the Active Directory environment.
oEnforce password policies and ensure compliance with companysecurity standards.
o Monitor and maintain the privilegeaccount management system ensuring its effectiveness andreliability.
2. User Support:
o Providetechnical support to users regarding passwordrelated issuesincluding configuring passwords in services provide encryptedpasswords and any connectivity issues in privilege accountmanagement system.
Assist users in understanding and adhering to privilegeaccount management process and best practices.
o Conductregular training sessions for users on password security andmanagement.
3. System Security:
o Implementand manage multifactor authentication (MFA) solutions to enhancepassword security.
o Monitor for unauthorized accessattempts and take appropriate action to mitigate securityrisks.
o Conduct regular security audits to ensure toprivilege account management practices are robust andcompliant.
4. Policy and ProcedureDevelopment:
o Assist in the development and updating ofprivilege account management policies and procedures.
oDocument and maintain standard operating procedures for privilegeaccount management tasks.
o Stay updated on industrybest practices and emerging trends in password security.
5. Technical Administration:
o Manage and configurepassword policies within to privilege account management system andalign the same as per Active directory password managementsettings.
o Ensure secure storage and transmission ofpasswords using encryption and other security measures.
o Assist in the integration of privilege account management toolsand software with existing systems.
6. IncidentResponse:
o Respond to and resolve privilegeaccountrelated security incidents and breaches.
o Workwith the IT Privilege Access management team to investigate andmitigate any potential threats to password security.
oMaintain logs and documentation of incidents andresolutions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degreein computer science Information Technology Cybersecurity or arelated field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 to 4 years ofexperience in IT security or system administration with a focus onpassword management in Active Directory environments.
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as MicrosoftCertified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate arepreferred.
Skills:
oStrong knowledge of Active Directory administration and GroupPolicy management.
o Proficiency in password managementtools and MFA solutions.
o Excellent problemsolving andanalytical skills.
