  • Identify potential suppliers, conductsupplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts to obtain the bestvalue for the organization.
  • Manage thepurchasing department, including store andlogistics.
  • Collaborate with internaldepartments, including engineering, production, projects andfinance teams, to understand project requirements and developprocurement plans aligned with organizationalobjectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships,monitor performance, and resolve any issues or disputes that mayarise.
  • Stay informed about industry trends,market conditions, and regulatory requirements related towastewater treatment procurement.
  • Analyzeprocurement data and performance metrics to identify opportunitiesfor process improvements and costsavings.
  • Ensure compliance with companypolicies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout theprocurement process.
  • Track and maintaininventory, perform month-end reconciliation, monitor the ageing ofinventory, and make appropriaterecommendations.
  • Generate summary and analysisreports for management review.
  • Representationin internal and external ISO audits.

Key GenericSkills

  • Strong negotiation skills and abilityto build effective relationships withsuppliers.
  • Excellent analytical andproblem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge ofwastewater treatment equipment, and relevant regulations andstandards governing is highlydesirable.
  • Proficient in procurement softwareand Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel, PowerPoint,Microsoft Outlook, and any relevant ERPsystem).
  • Good Oral & Written English -Preferred.
  • UAE Driving License -Preferred.
