Roles and responsibilities
  • The Rotating Equipmentteam works with the overall Engineering Team forming part of theproject PMC team. Specifically the RE Lead shall ensure that allrotating equipment work is completed to the required qualitystandards as defined in company, project and engineering executionplans.
    • Participate as required in technicalreviews and quality audits by the PMCgroup.
    • Provide rotating equipment direction toboth EPC Contractor and PMC team in the acceptance of designdocuments, approvals, design discussions, change requests andvariations.
  • Providesinput to a detailed project plan for the rotating subgroupoutlining all the necessary activities, timelines, and milestonesensuring that the rotating work is completed on time and withinbudget.
  • Line manages the rotating subgroup,ensuring that all internal deliverables are issued according toagreed schedule and all documentation reviews are submitted withinagreed timeframes.
  • Attends progress meetingswith ADNOC as required on budget and EPCprogress.
  • Produces weekly report on EPCContractor which highlights anyconcerns.
  • Design Review: The PMC shall reviewthe rotating design documents prepared by the EPC Contractor,ensuring that they meet all project specifications, safetyrequirements, and applicable standards and regulations. Any issuesor concerns would be addressed to the EPC Contractor by therotating team.
    • Review EPC Contractor'sdocumentation including requisitions, specifications, datasheetsfor contractual compliance, safety, andquality.
    • Attending a weekly progress meetingwith the EPC Contractors rotatingteam.
    • Provides a weekly summary report to theManager/Team Leader,Rotating
  • Monitors the EPCContractors procurement and Supplier contract management ofrotating equipment required for theproject.
    • Attend bid clarification meetings as aADNOC RLNG representative.
    • Reviewing deviationsagainst ADNOC standards
    • Presenting deviationsto ADNOC standards to technical authority forapproval.
    • Reviewing final technical evaluationreport and providing feedback on scope ofsupply
    • Attend Supplier kick of meeting and preinspection meetings at the Supplier's main manufacturinglocation.
    • Attend Supplier progress meetings asADNOC representative.
    • Attend commercialmeetings on Supplier equipment as the ADNOC RLNG'srepresentative.
    • Spot check EPC Contractorreview of Supplier documentation for quality and contractualcompliance
    • Receive and review Supplierdocumentation as required, particularly critical information likethe inspection and test plans, P&ID's, layoutdrawings and weight ad utilitydocumentation.
    • Attend Supplier HAZOP, SIL, as aADNOC RLNG representative.
    • Attend FAT, IFAT asa ADNOC RLNG representative.
    • Supplierevaluationreports.
  • Constructionsupport: support the PMC construction team during the rotatingconstruction activities,
    • Support constructionand inspection team with rotating technical assistance, includingconcession requests, site modificationsapproval.
    • Attend weekly meetings with theconstructiongroup.
  • Commissioning:support the PMC commissioning team during the rotating equipmentcommissioning.
    • Support commissioning team withrotating technical assistance
    • Attend weeklymeetings with the commissioning group.
    • Attendany site acceptance tests as ADNOC RLNG'srepresentative.

3-Minimum Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree inMechanical engineering.

Minimum Experience& Knowledge & Skills

  • 12 years. experience in rotatingmachinery in the LNG, Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industryincluding minimum 5 years (preferred) in EPC organization. Musthave at least 2 years of experience in similar position in a megaOil & Gas or Petrochemical projects. managing team ofSpecialists, Senior Engineers andEngineers.
  • Skilled in an aspect of rotatingmachinery such as compressor (centrifugal, reciprocating andscrew), pumps and associated ancillary equipment (lube oil systems,gearboxes) and control systems.
  • Capable ofreviewing equipment requisitions, datasheets, and specificationsand vendor documentation.
  • Able to performmechanical design and specification of all non-proprietaryequipment (preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge ofADNOC operating assets or similarfacilities.
  • Experience in ASSESS and SELECTphase studies including preparation of Scope of Work, Statement ofRequirement (SOR) and Design Basisdocumentation.
  • Strong analytical ability withattention to details and knowledge.
  • Awarenessof operational integrity processes of Asset Integrity ManagementSystem (AIMS).
  • Awareness of process safety andhazardous arearequirements/implications.
