The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for members and guests ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role includes handling membership inquiries assisting with checkins processing payments and maintaining overall customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Reception: Greet members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor. Assist with member checkins registration and guest passes. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about memberships class schedules and facility services. Address and resolve customer concerns efficiently escalating issues to management when necessary. Membership & Sales Support: Provide information on membership plans promotions and fitness programs. Process new memberships renewals and cancellations. Handle billing payments and account updates. Promote additional services such as personal training classes and retail products. Administrative & Facility Management: Maintain an organized and tidy front desk area. Monitor access to the facility ensuring only authorized members enter. Assist in scheduling fitness classes and personal training appointments. Keep accurate records of attendance memberships and daily transactions. General Duties: Ensure compliance with gym policies and safety regulations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and order in the reception and lounge areas. Report any maintenance or safety issues to management. Support special events and promotions as needed. Requirements Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or business is a plus. Previous experience in customer service front desk operations or the fitness industry is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills (experience with gym management software is a plus). Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment. A passion for health fitness and wellness is a plus.
