Only UAE nationals are eligible to apply (JOB LOCATION DUBAI) The position of an accountant will be based in Dubai United Arab Emirates. It shall reportdirectly to the Finance Shared Services Centre Manager. This position shall be primarilyresponsible for the management and reporting of financial data of the Company. Detailed Job Description Post purchase invoices employee expense claims and liaise with ancillary departments to ensure that relevant approvals are obtained per the workflow Update banks and prepare bank reconciliation statements Post sales invoices and control the settlements with customers Verify allocate post and reconcile transactions by ensuring the accounting treatment of an entitys transactions Analyze financial information and summarize financial status as per the business requirements Prepare periodic reconciliations of intercompany balances and vendor/customer balances Assistance with the closing of the periodic accounts and associated analysis and summary documents; ensure the reliability of monthly accounts in accordance with IFRS and the annual accounts in accordance with local standards and the responsibility for the financial data obtained Ensure the compliance with accounting and financial procedures and internal control rules defined by the Group Liaise with other transverse financial functions Support with the annual audit of the books of account Contribute to the continuous improvement of the performance of accounting and financial processes with regard to the accounting and financial information systems implemented. Qualifications : Bachelors degree in accounting or finance with at least 1 or 2 years of workexperience in accounting with thorough knowledge of accounting procedures andprinciples.2/3Sector experience in construction engineering or global multinational or similar highlypreferred.Proven financial analysis skills experience with monthend review and analysis of P&Land BS.Experience with budgeting and cash forecasts and creating financial statements.Experience with general ledger functions and the monthend/year end close process.Excellent accounting software and Excel/Google sheet user and administration skills.Accuracy and attention to detail with high focus on suppliers payments.Good knowledge and practice of accounting and financial techniques (IFRS standardsand local accounting and tax rules).Good knowledge of accounting and financial processes for both internal control andprocedural efficiency.Good knowledge of accounting and financial information systems.Ability to organize and plan the process of periodic account closing and meetaccounting and tax deadlines.
