Land Surveyor

• Carrying out topographicsurveying.
• Preparing daily activitiesreports.
• Checking of construction drawings withfield problems and proposing changes if required to the siteteam. 
• Solving issues when needed forsite surveyors.
• Observations of verticalcontrol data by running level line(benchmark).
• Supervise new survey controlpoints/temporary benchmarks for closing traverse around theproject.
• Verifying data andcalculations.
• Verify settingout of IrrigationSub main line secondary line pull boxes valve chambers isolationvalue tapping points feeder pillars water meterchambers.
• Shop drawings review as per IFC/NOCdrawings.
• Setting out Design levels Profiles& Layout of horizontalalignments.
• Researching legal documents surveyrecords and land titles to clarify information about propertyboundaries.
• Calculation of slopes meetingpoints plotting & calculation of crosssectionalareas.
• Identifying existing utilities as perconcern authorities NOC.
• Identifying existingutilities as per concern authoritiesNOC.
• Recording (OGL) existing ground levelusing leveling instrument.
• Supervise earthworkEmbankments layer by layer formation Sub Grade Road Aggregate RoadBase Base course wearing course and Bindercourse.
• Responsible for Supervision of allsurvey work within given areas.
• Managing allconstruction activities related to thesurvey. 
• Able to read and understandconstruction drawings and coordinate with project/site engineerssupervisors and superintendents to plan upcoming surveyneeds.
• Calculation of quantities for all typesof survey works.
• Checking of existing servicesas per received drawings from relevant authorities and trial pitslocation.
• Collecting all detail related toexisting services observed during trial pits for payment and recordpurposes.
• Solving issues when needed for sitesurveyors.
• Checking of construction drawingswith field problems and proposing changes if required to the siteteam.
• Preparing working drawings bycalculations through constructiondrawings.
• Preparing daily activitiesreports.
• Downloading and uploading of data fromsurvey equipment.
• Input for shop and asbuiltdrawings.
• Supervise and inspection of asBuiltdrawings to verify the details and content ofdrawings.
• Inspections of CalibrationCertificate of all survey Instruments every 6months.
• Inspection for future ducts Split ductsand protection concrete slaps.
• Making Roadprofiles.
• Snag lists preparing before handoversite to the client.
• Speed Hump raise hump andtable hump inspection.
• Streetlight settingoutand leveling supervise.
• Supervise road IPs andsubmit them online to TPD for final approval before proceeding tostart roadworks.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 yearsexperience overall Al Ain experience isadvantageous Recognized degree in required field ofexpertise.
• Middle East experiencepreferred.
• Relevant experience in comparableroads and bridgesprojects.
