This role plays a critical part in the projects successby facilitating collaboration enhancing design quality and ensuringcompliance with technical and regulatorystandards.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create and manage detailed electrical BIMmodels using software like Revit andAutoCAD.
  • Develop accurate 3D models forelectrical systems including power distribution lighting lowvoltageand ELV systems.
  • Ensure all models comply withrelevant design standards and projectspecifications.
  • Collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams including architects mechanical engineersand structural engineers to resolve designconflicts.
  • Conduct clash detection using toolslike Navisworks and resolve identifiedissues.
  • Participate in design coordinationmeetings and contribute to achieving integrated project deliverygoals.
  • Produce detailed shop drawingsschematics and layouts for electrical systems based on BIMmodels.
  • Ensure proper documentation andupdating of AsBuilt models as required.
  • Adhereto local and international standards such as DEWA ADDC and SECrequirements in the GCC.
  • Maintain quality andaccuracy in all BIM deliverables.

KEYQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in ElectricalEngineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 yearsof experience in BIM modeling preferably in the UAE or other GCCcountries.
  • Prior experience with designconsulting firms in the Middle East is amust.
  • Proficiency in BIM tools especially Revitand Navisworks.
  • Solid understanding ofelectrical design principles andsystems.
  • Knowledge of local authorityregulations and requirements in the GCC.
  • Strongcommunication and teamwork abilities.
  • Attentionto detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability towork under tight deadlines and manage multiple taskseffectively.
