DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS

  1. Lead development of project specific Project Controls execution strategies.
  2. Coordinate with PD and PM on reporting, project control activities, and other services.
  3. Manage development of procedures for various project control activities including budget preparation, forecasts, progress validation and related cost engineering and planning/scheduling functions.
  4. Manage cost engineering activities including development and implementation of cost control systems, invoice processing activities, monthly cost reporting, trending, FAC Analysis, cost variance analysis, funding budgets and cash flows.
  5. Manage cost estimating/forecasting activities including periodic project re-estimates and cost benchmark metrics.
  6. Manage oversee change management activities for the assigned project to ensure adequate revenue recovery / schedule coverage.
  7. Manage planning & scheduling activities including development of summary and detailed project schedules, progress and performance monitoring, schedule deviations and workaround solutions; plans and manages the execution of internal audits of critical commercial internal control systems.
  8. Facilitate and oversee the risk assessment, mitigation, and contingency planning process for the Program.
  9. Coordinate and issue necessary project reports, including progress, cost, and schedule.
  10. Ensure full integration between the estimating, cost control, planning/scheduling, and risk management functions within projects.
  11. Manage miscellaneous estimate development including estimates addressing alternative options, products, locations, etc.
  12. Ensure that invoices are tracked, confirmed, and handed off to Accounts Payable properly.
  13. Manage cash calls and forecasts to/from Finance.
  14. Provide other administrative procedures to projects as required.
  15. Business manager responsibility on the project – with Client / JV partner interface.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  1. BS in construction or engineering.
  2. Proficient with software such as MS Office and other project controls software.
  3. Minimum of 15 years' experience in oil and gas or renewables sector (offshore platforms, HVDC, FPSO etc) specializing in project controls.
  4. Minimum of 10 years of management experience.
  5. Experience on large-scale oil/gas and petrochemical capital projects & Turnarounds.
  6. Demonstrated experience and working understanding of project CP planning and scheduling, cost control and cost estimating.
  7. Demonstrated capability to lead a group responsible for control of planning, scheduling, cost control and cost estimating activities.
  8. Ability to interpret and perform analysis of cost and schedule reports and data.
  9. Ability to lead SRA and CRA processes and applications.
  10. Experience in preparation of cost estimates.
  11. Has clearly demonstrated strong technical competence.
