As a dataanalyst and data engineer you will work closely with the Head ofDigital to develop and implement data strategy for the region. Youwill be responsible for creating and managing data pipelinesdeveloping data visualization setting up and managing datainfrastructure and data flow. You will collaborate with multiplestakeholders including function owners & business tosupport the organizations decisionmaking process by presentingdatadriveninsights.

YourResponsibilities

Data Analysis:

  • Data Collection andAnalysis: Gather data from various sources process and analyze itto extract actionable insights.
  • Data Cleaning:Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cleaning and preparingdatasets for analysis.
  • Collaboration: Workclosely with crossfunctional teams including marketing sales andbusiness to understand data requirements and deliver insights forinternal and external stakeholders. Communication:Present findings and insights to stakeholders translating complexdata into understandable and impactful business terms

Data Visualization& BI Tools:

  • Designand Development: Develop and deploy Tableau & BI tools andreporting systems ensuring they meet userneeds.
  • Data Integration: Develop and manage ETL(Extract Transform Load) processes to ensure data is collectedaccurately and efficiently from varioussources.
  • Performance Optimization: Troubleshootand optimize BI tools and systems to enhance their performance andscalability. Collaboration: Work closely withstakeholders business & technology to integrate systemimprove data flow & understand business needs.

Data Engineering:

  • Database Management:Perform database design development performance tuning andmaintenance to ensure efficient data storage and retrievalprocesses.
  • Data Integration: Integrate datafrom various source systems into the data warehouse ensuringaccuracy consistency and quality of data.
  • ETLDevelopment: Develop test and maintain ETL scripts and processesusing ETL tools to ensure data is accurately collected transformedand loaded into data warehouse systems.
  • DataInfrastructure Management: Develop and manage the datainfrastructure including data lakes data warehouses and dataprocessing systems to support analytics and business intelligenceneeds. Data Security and Compliance: Implement datasecurity measures and ensure compliance with data governance andprivacy regulations.

Qualifications

TechnicalSkills

  • Analytical ToolsProficiency: Strong skills in analytical tools such as Excel SQLPython or R for data manipulation andanalysis.
  • Data Visualization/ BI Tool:Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BIto create insightful visualizations.
  • DatabaseProficiency: Proficiency in SQL and experience with databasemanagement systems for querying and managingdata.
  • Programming Languages: Strong proficiencyin programming languages such as Python Java or Scala for dataprocessing and integration
  • ETL Tools:Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica Talend SSIS orsimilar for data integration processes. Cloud Platforms:Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloudfor deploying and managing data solutions.

Experience& Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a dataanalyst and engineer or similar role for 10years.
  • Exposure to insurance and thereinsurance industry is a plus.
  • Minimum of anundergrad degree in Data science Computer Science Engineering or arelated field. Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.

  • Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills capable of building strong relationships withstakeholders and team members.
  • Strongproblemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Highattention to detail and the ability to manage multiple taskssimultaneously.
  • Ability to work under pressureand adapt to changingpriorities.
