The Role:
As part of this role, you must be prepared to work flexibly as part of a team and as an integral part of the Gama Aviation Engineering Group, possessing strong communication, organisation, and leadership skills. To be considered for this position you will hold an EASA or UK CAA or GCAA Part 66 B1 and/or B2 License, preferably with one of the following OEM type ratings:

  • Bombardier
  • Gulfstream
  • Embraer
  • Textron

Preferred candidates will already hold one of the listed OEM type ratings; however, applicants with other similar type ratings will be considered as training and type courses may be provided.

The successful candidate will join a long-established and respected forward-thinking company that has a proven history in career development within the organisation, with type and non-type training provided to develop your skills and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful completion of all allocated, planned and ad-hoc maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure the completion of scheduled customer order requirements when acting as supervising, certifying engineer for a given input.
  • Responsible for the management of and performance/quality of performed works in compliance with applicable company processes and procedures.
  • Ensure correct compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain the required engineering license and applicable type rating as required to perform duties and be responsible for ensuring licenses and type ratings do not lapse and are kept up to date.
  • Accountable for providing professional communication with customers and contacts as required.
  • Individual responsibility for booking accurate and consistent timekeeping in applicable software system.
  • Ensuring all actions contained within work orders have been accomplished using approved maintenance data.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • A Part 66 License with Category B1 and/or B2.
  • Previous aircraft line maintenance experience with a wide knowledge and skill range in inspection, repair, troubleshooting, servicing, and modifications.
  • Satisfactory recency as required for issue of applicable certifying approval.
  • Driving licence.

Advantageous:

  • Hold a type rating for Bombardier Global or Challenger.
