As a 3D modeler you work in the Hydronamicengineering department. Hydronamic has a team of around 80 peoplein different design disciplines working from the main office inPapendrecht on projects and working from our new offices in AbuDhabi. Hydronamic is responsible for the construction designs intenders and acquired projects within the Dredging division ofBoskalis often with an integral and multidisciplinarycharacter.

We have an opportunity within the sameteam for a senior medior and juniorlevels.

Your responsibilities as aCAD engineer(modeler)

  • Develops 3Ddesigns reviews 3D models and creates models using software andother tools methods and techniques. Coordinates these models tooptimally facilitate the implementation of the geometricaldesigns.
  • Reviews drawing specifications andreference designs and gathers all necessary information. Determineswhat needs to be modeled in each constructionphase.
  • Identifies interfaces risks andopportunities in the project model assists withcoordination.
  • Advises and supports design andprojects teams on technical aspects and inquiries creates animations to provide insight into processes andconstructions.
  • We will guide and coach you towork in our development toolchain and the Boskalis business for youto quickly.

Yourqualities 

You can makeyour mark as a CAD engineer (modeler) if you willhave:

  • Civil Engineering Survey orsimilar Bachelors degree level of working andthinking.
  • Minimum of 3 years of workexperience
  • You have knowledge of modelingsoftware Civil3D in combination with SubAssembly Composer andNavisworks
  • Knowledge of CAD BIM standardsregulations and guidelines
  • Proficient in theEnglishlanguage.
