We are currentlyseeking a qualified Geotechnical Inspector to join our team for anexciting Airport project. The successful candidate will have astrong background in geotechnical engineering and extensiveexperience working on Airport projects. This role offers anexcellent opportunity to contribute to the successful completion ofa major infrastructure project while ensuring compliance withindustry standards and regulatoryrequirements.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Conductthorough inspections of geotechnical aspects of the Airportproject, including earthwork, foundations, retaining structures,and slope stability.

2. Monitor and evaluatesoil conditions, groundwater levels, and other geotechnicalparameters to identify potential risks andissues.

3. Perform field tests and laboratoryanalysis of soil and rock samples to assess their engineeringproperties and suitability forconstruction.

4. Review geotechnical reports,design drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance withproject requirements and industrystandards.

5. Collaborate closely with projectengineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to addressgeotechnical concerns and implement effectivesolutions.

6. Provide technical support andguidance to construction crews regarding proper excavation,compaction, and foundation techniques.

7.Document inspection findings, including field notes, photographs,and test results, and prepare comprehensive reports for projectdocumentation.

8. Conduct periodic site visitsand inspections to verify compliance with approved plans andspecifications.

9. Participate in meetingswith project teams to discuss progress, challenges, and potentialmitigation measures related to geotechnicalissues.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, GeotechnicalEngineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum of5+ years of experience working as a geotechnicalinspector.

3. Strong knowledge of geotechnicalengineering principles, soil mechanics, and foundationdesign.

4. Experience conducting fieldinvestigations, soil testing, and geotechnical instrumentationmonitoring.

5. Familiarity with relevantcodes, standards, and regulations governing geotechnical aspects ofAirport construction projects.

6. Proficiencyin geotechnical software and data analysistools.

7. Excellent communication andinterpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectivelywith multidisciplinary teams.

8. Strongorganizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability tomanage multiple tasks and prioritiessimultaneously.

9. Professional licensure orcertification in geotechnical engineering or related fieldpreferred.
