Project Manager – Finance

Job purpose: The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering finance-related system initiatives, including the implementation of One VGS and other technology-driven projects. This role ensures alignment with organizational objectives, compliance standards, and operational efficiency. The position also involves managing multiple ad-hoc tasks and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and systems. Key Accountabilities: Project Management & Delivery Lead end-to-end implementation of One VGS and other finance system projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and manage risks. Coordinate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams for system integration and data integrity. Process Improvement & Compliance Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements within finance operations. Ensure all projects comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards. Stakeholder Engagement Act as the primary liaison between Finance, IT, Procurement, and external vendors for project-related matters. Communicate project status, risks, and deliverables to senior management and stakeholders. Ad-hoc Initiatives Manage various ad-hoc finance projects, including system upgrades, reporting enhancements, and compliance initiatives.
