To provide effective instruction and assessment to Diploma level courses and to maintain HCT laboratories and workshops. The scope of work includes lecture delivery, the installation, demonstration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment and facilities. This is a combined instruction and hands-on role which will have the Instructor deliver lectures and work closely with the Faculty and students in laboratories and workshops. In addition to the delivery of instructions and assessments, the Engineering Instructor sets up the laboratory in preparation for experiments and maintains supplies and documentation.

Requirements
  1. Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  2. Membership to a relevant internationally recognized professional association is desirable.
  3. Training certificates or diplomas in workshop practices is desirable.
  4. First Aid qualification is desirable.
  5. A completed apprenticeship leading to certification in a professional trade would be advantageous.
  6. Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.
  7. Preference will be given to candidates with industrial experience in the relevant engineering field.
  8. English proficiency is essential; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  9. Advanced computer literacy is required to integrate technology in the workplace.
  10. Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
  11. Previous short-span teaching experience is desirable.
