Join to apply for the Fire Alarm Technician role at FIRESTONE FIRE AND SECURITY SYSTEMS LLC We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Install, program, and configure fire alarm panels and devices (smoke detectors, heat detectors, manual call points, sounders, etc.). Conduct regular testing, inspection, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm systems. Troubleshoot faults in fire alarm control panels, field wiring, and devices. Repair or replace faulty components to ensure system reliability. Read and interpret fire alarm system drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Ensure all work complies with NFPA, civil defense, and local fire authority regulations. Maintain accurate service records, inspection reports, and system documentation. Coordinate with engineers, project managers, and other trades during project execution. Strong understanding of fire alarm control panels. Familiarity with addressable and conventional systems. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks. Good communication skills and a professional attitude. Physically fit and willing to work on-site, including at heights. Civil Defense-approved technician (preferred but not mandatory). Knowledge of integrated systems (BMS, CCTV, access control). Valid safety training certifications (e.g., Work at Heights, Electrical Safety, etc.). Site-based work across various project locations. May involve night shifts, emergency service calls, and weekend work. PPE and tools will be provided by the company.
