We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to oversee and enhance quality standards across the entire fresh produce value chain from cultivation to post-harvest handling, packaging, and dispatch. The role ensures compliance with international food safety standards and UAE regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement in product quality, safety, and traceability. Responsibilities Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems aligned with GLOBALG.A.P., HACCP, ISO 22000, and local food safety regulations. Monitor crop quality at all stages pre-harvest, harvest, and post-harvest ensuring adherence to defined product specifications. Supervise post-harvest operations including sorting, grading, cooling, packaging, and storage. Oversee warehouse hygiene, water quality, equipment calibration, and preventive maintenance. Coordinate regulatory compliance and certification processes, including GLOBALG.A.P, HACCP, ISO 22000, and Organic certifications. Conduct supplier audits and verify compliance with product and safety standards. Maintain traceability documentation from seed to shipment, ensuring accurate records and audit readiness. Deliver training programs to promote a culture of quality, hygiene, and continuous improvement. Analyze inspection data to identify trends, drive corrective actions, and enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Botany, Food Science, or a related field. 3–4 years of experience in farm quality control, QA/QC, crop production, or post-harvest handling. Strong knowledge of UAE agricultural regulations and international quality standards (GLOBALG.A.P., HACCP, ISO 22000). Hands‑on experience in fresh produce quality management, inspection, and compliance processes. Excellent communication, analytical, and team coordination skills.
