Faculty will teach in one or more of the following specializations: Accounting, Finance, Management. The College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB. Instruction Language: English Teaching Load: Maximum 6 credit hours per semester Job Purpose Responsible to provide students with professional expertise in teaching, assessing student work, academic advising, participating in administrative and committee activities, professional service, and community service. Qualifications & Education Ph.D. in the related field from an accredited university in the United States of America or a recognized university accredited by an American accreditation body. Applicant must have the Doctorate Wall Certificate issued by the time of recruitment. 18 credit hours of graduate studies in the required field. Minimum two (3) research articles indexed in Scopus listed journals, or five (5) articles in peer‑reviewed journals in the past five years. Ph.D. must be recognized by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. Ph.D. must have WES equivalency if the degree was not issued from the United States. Experience Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of teaching/working experience at an AACSB accredited school or an internationally accredited university. Proven record of excellence at baccalaureate and graduate program level teaching. Skills / Training / Knowledge Curricular development and review. Record of professional accomplishment including peer‑reviewed publications. Continued research program and interest in collaboration with another faculty. Ability to integrate web‑based and/or digital technology in the classroom. Willingness to provide service to the University and the College. Excellent English proficiency and communication skills for faculty teaching in English. Excellent Arabic proficiency and communication skills for faculty teaching in Arabic. Job Description Instructional Delivery (Teaching Performance) – present research and practice‑driven teaching, adapt to latest pedagogical techniques, engage students, develop assessments. Instructional Management – manage instructional processes effectively. Assessment and Evaluation – evaluate students’ performance and grading, provide clear assessment criteria, set expectations and avoid cognitive bias. Curriculum Development and Review – contribute to regular curriculum review and improvement for quality and effectiveness. Research, Scholarship and Publication – actively engage in scholarly activities and publish peer‑reviewed articles in area of specialization. Professional Development – acquire latest academic techniques, discipline and professional certifications through workshops, seminars and training. Academic Advising and Success – provide academic advising and guidance on curriculum planning and career planning. Service – participate in task forces or workgroups for projects such as accreditation, recruitment, research administration, consultation, and community service.
