This position requires the post-holder to be part of a team and perform all tasks assigned to deliver top-class service to our customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing 1st and 2nd line IT technical support to resolve user and operational problems according to the agreed Service Level Agreements to enhance user satisfaction levels.
- Supporting and maintaining PCs and peripherals.
- Carrying out diagnostic troubleshooting by selecting and using appropriate technical references.
- Ensuring rapid response to user technical and functional issues for a range of applications across multiple business lines and assets.
- Maintaining a high level of customer service for all support queries.
- Acting as the first line security response resource and executing emergency procedures.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Technical diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering/Electronics or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years post-diploma experience in installing and supporting Desktop environments and equipment in an enterprise environment (Oil and gas organization preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in PCs, peripherals, and Application Support.
- Industry certification in major IT products, e.g., A+, Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, etc.
- Good communication skills (oral and written).
- Proficient in the usage/application of standard diagnostic, test equipment, and software tools.
- Able to communicate technical details and instructions in plain, non-technical language.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
