The Architectural Draftsman isresponsible for preparing detailed architectural drawings shopdrawings and design layouts for various projects. The role ensuresthat all drawings comply with project specifications industrystandards and local regulations supporting the successful executionof constructionactivities.

JOBRESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparedetailed architectural drawings including shop drawings layouts andtechnical documentation usingAutoCAD.
  • Convertsketches conceptual designs and engineer instructions into precisedrawings.
  • Create asbuilt drawings as requiredfor project closeout.
  • Coordinate with projectmanagers engineers and other stakeholders to ensure designs alignwith project requirements.
  • Collaborate withmultidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration ofarchitectural designs with structural and MEPsystems.
  • Review and check drawings for accuracycompleteness and compliance with specifications andstandards.
  • Ensure that drawings are up to dateand reflect any changes in design orconstruction.
  • Ensure all drawings adhere tolocal UAE building codes regulations and projectspecifications.
  • Provide drafting support duringproject execution addressing any modifications or updates requiredonsite.
  • Respond promptly to requests forclarifications or revisions from the projectteam.

KEYQUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degreein Architecture or Diploma in Autocad or any relevantcourse.
  • Must have minimum 5 years of UAEexperience as an Architectural Draftsman.
  • Workexperience in contracting companies in the UAE ismandatory.
  • Proficiency inAutoCAD for drafting anddetailing.
  • Strongknowledge of shop drawings and architecturaldetailing.
  • Familiarity with UAE building codesand standards.
  • Strong attention to detail andaccuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamworkskills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meetdeadlines.
