((BST: 8:00 - 18:00 (Mon/Thurs) 8:00 - 16:00 (Fri))) We are seeking an experienced Offshore Construction Manager to oversee and manage all construction activities for our oil and gas projects in the UAE, specifically in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in offshore construction and project management, with a focus on ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion of projects. Responsibilities Oversee and manage all offshore construction activities, including planning, coordination, and execution of projects in compliance with safety and quality standards Lead and supervise a team of construction professionals, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans, and monitor progress to ensure on-time and within budget completion of projects Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of construction activities with overall project objectives Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel on the offshore construction sites Manage and resolve any construction-related issues, conflicts, or delays that may arise during project execution Prepare regular progress reports, risk assessments, and other project documentation for management and stakeholders Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; Master's degree is a plus Proven experience (8+ years) in offshore construction management within the oil and gas industry, with a strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects In-depth knowledge of offshore construction processes, technologies, and best practices, with a focus on safety and quality standards Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse team of construction professionals Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Certifications in project management, construction safety, or related fields are desirable Familiarity with local regulations and industry standards in the UAE, particularly in Abu Dhabi, is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
