The Delivery Experience team islooking for a Program Manager to drive DEX related initiativeswithin the MENA region. This role will be a combination programownership and business strategy ownership to ensure customers inthe region have the best delivery experience when they order fromAmazon. In this regard, the role is a blend of the followingdimensions - business strategy, program value assurance,operational excellence.

The right candidatewill be able to assess what is most important for customers and ourbusiness and lead change. The program owner will drive the visionfor DEX improvements in MENA, manage the execution once the visionhas been aligned across all stakeholder groups and ensure timelylaunches of initiatives. Successful candidates will have a historyof driving insights from data and ability to influence crossfunctionally stakeholders. The candidate should excel at working inteams and collaborate with teams to arrive atconsensus.

BasicQualifications

  • 2+ years of program or projectmanagement experience

PreferredQualifications

  • Knowledge of Lean principles andDMAIC methodology
  • Experience in MS Access andSQL
  • Experience in requirement gathering andability to write clear and detailed requirementdocument

  • ProgramPlanning and Execution : Develop detailed programplans, defining objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.Ensure that all projects within the program are aligned with theoverallstrategy.

  • TeamLeadership and Coordination : Lead cross-functionalteams across different projects, ensuring effective collaborationand communication. Act as the primary point of contact for allproject managers within theprogram.

  • ResourceAllocation : Oversee the allocation of resources,including personnel, technology, and budget, to ensure projects areadequatelysupported.

  • Monitoringand Reporting : Track program progress, includingdeadlines, budgets, and quality, and report regularly to seniormanagement and stakeholders on the status and risks of theprogram.

  • StakeholderCommunication : Maintain strong relationships withboth internal and external stakeholders, ensuring theirexpectations are managed and met throughout the programlifecycle.

  • RiskManagement : Identify potential risks to programdelivery, such as scope creep, budget overruns, or delays, andcreate mitigation plans to addressthem.

  • ContinuousImprovement : Evaluate program outcomes and teamperformance, identifying lessons learned and areas for improvementto enhance future programs.

  • Overseeing individualproject managers and ensuring that their projects are delivered ontime, within scope, and on budget.
  • Ability tomanage and prioritize multiple interdependent projectssimultaneously.

4.CommunicationSkills

  • Clear andconcise communication with stakeholders at alllevels.
  • Writing reports, creatingpresentations, and providing updates to seniorleadership.
  • Facilitate meetings anddiscussions, ensuring that all voices are heard and feedback isincorporated.

5.Budgeting and FinancialManagement

  • Overseeingthe budget for the program, ensuring that resources are allocatedefficiently.
  • Tracking expenses, forecastingcosts, and adjusting plans to stay withinbudget.
  • Working with finance teams to ensureproper funding and cost control.

6.Risk and IssueManagement

  • Proactivelyidentifying, assessing, and addressing risks to programsuccess.
  • Ensuring mitigation plans are in placefor potential roadblocks or delays.
  • Managingcrises or unplanned challenges that may arise during the programlifecycle.

7. ChangeManagement

  • Guidingteams through changes in scope, resources, orobjectives.
  • Ensuring that any changes arewell-communicated and do not derail the overallprogram.
  • Supporting organizational changeinitiatives and fostering a culture ofadaptability.

8.StakeholderManagement

  • Engagingwith internal and external stakeholders to ensure their needs andexpectations are met.
  • Balancing competinginterests, managing stakeholder concerns, and negotiatingsolutions.
  • Providing regular updates tostakeholders and ensuring they are informed about programprogress.

9.Problem-Solving andDecision-Making

  • Abilityto assess situations quickly and make informed decisions to keepprograms on track.
  • Handling complex challengesand ensuring that the right resources or solutions areapplied.
  • Analyzing data and feedback tocontinuously improve programoutcomes.
