In this role, you will manage and organize a variety of activities and events that support the organization's goals and boost community engagement, including planning, coordinating, and overseeing events that create value for the organization and its stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Planning of Activities:
  1. Develop an annual plan for activities and events in alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  2. Set clear objectives for each event and identify the target audience.
Event Management:
  1. Oversee the execution of events from start to finish, ensuring goals are met.
  2. Coordinate all event-related tasks including venue, timing, suppliers, and team collaboration.
  3. Work on securing speakers, trainers, or external teams in collaboration with other departments.
Budget Management:
  1. Prepare an initial budget for events and monitor its execution according to the approved budget.
  2. Control expenses and ensure cost-effectiveness in all activities.
Team Management:
  1. Lead and guide the activities and events team, assigning tasks effectively.
  2. Evaluate team performance and provide necessary guidance for improvement.
  3. Offer ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
Coordination with Other Departments:
  1. Collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, PR, HR, and Logistics to ensure event success.
  2. Ensure effective coordination between all stakeholders involved, such as speakers, participants, sponsors, and suppliers.
Marketing and Promotion:
  1. Work with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies to increase event attendance and engagement.
  2. Monitor and analyse participant feedback to assess the success of events.
Risk Management:
  1. Identify potential risks related to events and implement measures to mitigate or address them.
  2. Ensure compliance with legal, health, and safety procedures during event execution.
Reporting and Evaluation:
  1. Prepare regular reports on activities and events, including post-event analysis and feedback.
  2. Provide recommendations for improvement in future events based on collected data and feedback.
Partner and Sponsor Relations:
  1. Manage relationships with event sponsors and external partners to ensure their support and involvement.
  2. Explore new opportunities for partnerships that enhance the quality and reach of events.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and activities, with prior experience leading a team.
  3. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  4. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  5. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in Arabic and English.
  6. Proficiency in office software (Microsoft Office Suite) and event management software.
