Job Description Role Purpose The Waiter/Waitress will be responsible for delivering outstanding guest service, ensuring smooth daily operations, and upholding RIKAS service standards. As a frontline ambassador of the restaurant, you will create memorable dining experiences while maintaining efficiency, professionalism, and attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Excellence Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and ensure they feel welcome. Present menus, explain specials, and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Take accurate orders and ensure they are delivered promptly and correctly. Anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns gracefully, and exceed expectations. Manage guest complaints in a professional manner, escalating when necessary. Operational Duties Ensure tables, stations, and service areas are clean, organized, and properly set. Serve food and beverages following RIKAS standards for timing, presentation, and quality. Assist with daily mise en place, table settings, and closing duties. Collaborate closely with kitchen and bar teams to ensure smooth operations. Follow opening and closing checklists and operational guidelines. Standards & Compliance Uphold grooming and appearance standards as per RIKAS policies. Ensure compliance with all health, hygiene, and safety regulations. Maintain awareness of promotions, special events, and menu updates. Qualifications Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-end or luxury restaurant ( 1–2 years preferred). Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset. Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Professional appearance, with high standards of personal hygiene and grooming. Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
