Accountabilities Own end-to-end engineering delivery for Care Services initiatives, ensuring scope, timelines, quality, and user experience. Collaborate closely with Product and stakeholders to shape initiatives, communicate risks early, and make trade-offs under ambiguity. Lead technical delivery across frontend and API/integration layers, ensuring alignment with internal foundation and backend teams. Manage and mentor a team including Engineering Managers and engineers, addressing performance issues, hiring needs, and succession planning. Drive continuous improvement in delivery predictability, process effectiveness, automation, and adherence to shared standards. Act as the engineering representative in leadership discussions, providing clear updates on delivery health, risks, and trade-offs. Requirements 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5–10 years in engineering management and 2–4 years in senior management roles. Proven track record managing Engineering Managers and individual contributors. Experience delivering consumer-facing applications, particularly frontend and user experience–critical components. Strong experience working with high-visibility initiatives and multiple stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to improve team processes, reliability, and adherence to shared standards over time. Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills in English. Comfortable operating in dynamic environments with evolving scope and priorities.
