Role Overview

Our client is looking for a Business Development Managerwho is responsible for driving utilisation and dependence upon ourclient as the goto place for all Microsoft at our client andexternal Clients. Providing trusted advisor expertise with memberfirms around their strategic approach to fulfilling their clientsbusiness and technology needs. Creates and progresses opportunitiesfor MBS in the International market by leveraging a hybrid skillsetof business development pre sales technical excellence anddelivery. Advocates innovation both within the firm and withclients and takes a role in developing team members to their fullpotential as well as promoting collaboration acrossteams.

Requirements

  • Highly experienced working in Microsoftsolution sales
  • Working knowledge of Microsofttechnology (particularly Dynamics 365 Office 365 andAzure)
  • Strong cross industry experience (PublicSector Financial Services and ConsumerMarkets)
  • Highly experienced working inpartnership with Microsoft to develop business systems or cloudbased technology propositions to meet clientneeds
  • Experience of working in an LLPorganisation
  • Demonstrable track recorddeveloping long term profitable relationships with mid and largesized organisations
  • Can develop a demandgeneration strategy for a Microsoft solution sales team and leadthe team to successful
  • Has led Microsoftcentric transformation deals with values in excess of2m
  • Has led the development of solutionsconsulting offerings and assets to drive repeatablesales
  • Extensive experience working with seniorstakeholders within a large consulting organisation or systemintegrator to develop pipeline understanding of the uniquestructure and culture of a partnership based operatingmodel
  • Experience developing front and backoffice transformation propositions using Microsoft technology.
  • Has an extensive Microsoft network at saleslevel
  • Can create a culture of knowledge sharingand innovations
  • Is able to lead the salesinterlock with delivery teams to ensure profitable growth inpartnership.
  • Passionate about talking toclients on current technology issues and marketdirection
  • Collaborative ways of working withclients and various teams.
  • Creativeproblemsolving ability whilst working in ambiguoussituations
  • Experience in the anticipation theviewpoint of others listens and addressesconcerns
  • Experience in building cooperativerelationships and fostering an environment in which everyonesopinion is valued

Responsibilities


BusinessDevelopment

  • Owns the development andof a demand generation strategy for a key industry market to drivepipeline and sales to agreed KPIs
  • Develops theoverall positioning uniqueness and messaging for the Microsoftofferings through our clients Microsoft Business Solutions intothat industry
  • Responsible for the generation ofpipeline and of sales for theorganisation
  • Identifies and developsopportunities for the organisation to diversify across sub industryemerging technology and services propositions to buildpipeline
  • Works with our clients team to createintegrated propositions to meet the needs of specific industries orclients to build pipeline
  • Leads the interlockwith the delivery organisation toensure:
  • Contracts with clients arerobust
  • The sales teams support programmedelivery in partnership
  • The development ofinnovative and profitable commercialconstructs
  • Develops a marketing andcommunications plan to drive pipeline for the organisation in whitespace clients
  • Ensures that client relationshipsand commercial engagements are managed effectively to ensuresuccessful delivery and long term relationshipdevelopment


Business Development

  • Ownsand cultivates senior stakeholder relationships within keystrategic accounts
  • Owns and manages keyrelationships within our clients network to drive pipeline fromwithin the firms client base
  • Owns and managesthe relationship with key Microsoft stakeholders to developcoselling opportunities
  • Leads key bids andproposals for large scale transformation programmes (typically inthe 14m range)
  • Works as a trusted advisor withclients around their strategic business and technologyneeds
  • Leads and supports the negotiation ofcontracts and ensures compliance with our clientspolicy
